FixTunes

FixTunes is another one of these "automatic" tag fixing utilities. I've yet to test this one, but, as with all these tag "fixers", I'm a little bit nervous, since I looked through the site and there doesn't appear to be an undo.

We're working on an undo since we have had a few users request this option. We'll have it ready with our next release!

I've been over the entire site with no indication of how the freeware/trial version is crippled, and I'm not going to install something when I have no idea how useful it's going to be in trial. A note on the Download page saying "this is what the trial version does" would have solved the problem (or a note on the Purchase page, for that matter).

The trial version of FixTunes only allows you to update 50 songs in your library. Everything else about the trial and full version is the same. The trial version allows you to update album art, find and update missing album information, and separate your duplicates for 50 free trial songs.

The FixTunes/TidySongs database is full of errors. Most genres are wrong, many dates are wrong, misspelled titles are not uncommon.
